The Akron Zoo will be transforming two lemur habitats into habitats that will feature New World monkeys. The project would involve designing, prepping, and painting two murals, one in each habitat, to represent the South American rainforest.

Creative Connections:
Stone Wrapping Jewelry

Sat., Aug 16 • 2:00pm - 4:00pm  

• White Rabbit Galleries, Barberton

Instructor Ron White will guide participants through different techniques for wrapping stones to create pendants for jewelry or a component of a sculpture. Beginners and intermediate skill levels are welcome.

The Roads at Night Looked Like Our Futures: A 40 Over 40 Poetry Anthology will be launched with a reading and celebration event, featuring poets from the anthology. This event is free and open to the public.
