The Creative Investment Program is now accepting applications! In collaboration with the Ian Patrick Schwarber Foundation, this grant is given to artists and creatives eager to pursue professional development opportunities, fostering growth, and enhancing their skills within the community. 

 

Application is open now until October 1st at 11:59 PM.

Artist spotlight! Dominic Moore-Dunson, one of Dance Magazine’s 2023 “25 to Watch,” is an award-winning choreographer, a co-founder of the Akron Black Artist Guild, and more. Known for his community-centric approach, Dominic is a champion of community engagement in dance and entrepreneurship.

 

He is also involved in The National Center for Choreography as a Creative Research Residency Artist and Creative Administration Research Fellow.

Exhibition Opening Party GLOW: Neon & Light

Get ready to glow! The Akron Art Museum is hosting an opening party for its brand new exhibition GLOW: Neon and Light. This exhibition features spectacular and immersive works with glass, mirrors, light bulbs, and neon tubes that will light up the Karl and Bertl Arnstein Galleries.
