$80,000 for Creative Placemaking in Summit County!

ArtsNow, in partnership with the Summit County Land Bank, is thrilled to announce a new grant opportunity to advance the Placemaking priority in the Akron-Summit Cultural Plan!

ArtsNow has received a $40,000 investment from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) through its prestigious Grants for Arts Projects program. This funding will be supported and administered in collaboration with the Summit County Land Bank, bringing a total of $80,000 to strengthen Summit County communities through the arts.

The NEA’s Grants for Arts Projects program is fueling creativity and community enrichment nationwide in fiscal year 2025, funding 1,127 initiatives with over $31.8 million. Among the recipients, ArtsNow is the only organization in Summit County to receive this grant, reinforcing its role in leveraging the arts to enhance local spaces and engage the community.

Get ready! Two more program grants open on March 1. Visit artsnow.org/grants for more details!
