A: ArtsNow is using a new grant platform this year, so if you have not yet applied for an ArtsNow grant in 2025 you will need to create a new login.
Q: Is my project a good fit for ArtsForward?
A: As long as your project is new, aligns with at least one priority of the
Akron/Summit Cultural Plan, and benefits Summit County, you can apply for Arts
Forward. General operating and capital requests are not eligible.

Q: How do I get a fiscal sponsor?
A: All you need for the Arts
Forward application is the name of the nonprofit that will serve as your fiscal sponsor; name and email of that organization's executive director; and the organization's EIN. To establish that relationship, reach out to the nonprofit directly to ask if they can serve as your fiscal sponsor. If you don't have a nonprofit organization in mind, check out
Summit Artspace's Fiscal Sponsorship program for artists.
