ArtsNow invites you to join our Representation Matters: Photography and Ad Spend virtual workshop. Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation. This panel will be moderated by Arts & Culture Inclusion Council board member Ivy Johnson.

Heather Meeker is a Creative Investment Program recent! Heather will be using her grant to attend the Leadership Exchange in Arts and Disability (LEAD) Conference in Seattle, Washington. Congratulations, Heather!

 

Patron Spotlight

Patron spotlight! Arnold Tunstall worked at the Akron Art Museum from 1985 to 2016. Arnold is active in the northeast Ohio region with curatorial projects and continues to create and exhibit his own artwork.

Coptic Stitch Binding Workshop with    Jenniffer Omaitz

CVAC is hosting a two day Coptic stitching workshop for beginning and advanced levels. This workshop will cover will introduce basic Coptic stitch binding from cover to cover.

Drumroll for the          Total Eclipse

Join Akron Soul Train to celebrate the eclipse with a performance by Matt Kurtz. Matt will lead a percussive section featuring a drumroll just before the eclipse the begins.
