Josh Gordon brings energy, persistence, and a deep commitment to community as Executive Director of the Barberton Community Foundation!

 

Though born in Columbus, his journey took him through 13 different homes before he found his way back to Ohio in 2006—and he's been helping build stronger communities here ever since.

Akron’s own Matilda Pablo will join Louisville touring artists Alisha Nikole, Emerald Dahlia, and Nick Teale at The Rialto Theatre at 7:30 PM on June 10 with a portion of donations benefiting The Trevor Project’s efforts to end LGBTQ+ youth suicide.

Disney's Newsies

Newsies is inspired by the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899, when newsboy Kid Blink led a band of orphan and runaway “newsies” on a two-week-long action against Pulitzer, Hearst, and other powerful newspaper publishers.

Through the imagery of horror media, hunting culture, and self-development, this installation represents an invasion of the private space of Wood’s alter ego, someone whose living environment is dominated by his collections.
