100 Days of Impact:
An Afternoon with Elected Leaders

On April 18, ArtsNow hosted 100 Days of Impact: An Afternoon with Elected Leaders, presented by State & Federal Communications, Inc. Local artists, business owners, and elected leaders came together at the Akron Civic Theatre to recognize the importance of arts and culture in our communities.

 

Thank you to everyone who joined us and showed support for our arts culture sector.

 

Creative Investment Grant Recipient

Congratulations, Natalie. Natalie is one of our Creative Investment Program recipients who will be using her grant to attend a Digital Weaving Lab Residency at Praxis Fiber Workshop.

 

Patron Spotlight

This month, we are honoring Brenda Cummins! Brenda Cummins was awarded the Arts Patron award at this year's Arts Alive Awards hosted by Summit Artspace. Brenda serves as the Director of Philanthropic Services at The Cleveland Foundation.

 

The Arts Patron award is given to an artist, business, or organization that has enhanced arts and culture in the community through generous support, leadership and financial resources. Congratulations, Brenda!
