Elizabeth Bartz is the President and CEO of State and Federal Communications, Inc., a company she founded in 1993. Elizabeth is an enjoyer of the arts and you'll see her attending shows at venues such as Akron Civic Theatre, the Knight Stage, EJ Thomas Performing Arts Hall, and many more. As a resident and a business owner, Elizabeth knows the importance of the arts and culture seen in our community.

 

Creative Investment Program Recipients

Summit Choral Society is a Creative Investment Program recipient! With their investment, Summit Choral Society attended the Ohio Music Educators Association Professional Development Conference.

 

This event is the third largest music conference in the United States with nearly 300 sessions presented by nationally recognized master teachers!

Seed Sovereignty with April Parms Jones

April Parms Jones is a fourth generation Akronite. She is passionate about community gardens, farmer markets and creating a reasonably priced food system. April will be teaching a class on tips and tricks to grow your own food in any environment.

Join artist Rae Faba and learn to paint a family of dragonflies. At the end of the event you will have your own take-home masterpiece.
